Event Overview:
A forum for thought-leadership and networking aimed at stakeholders in the UK Urban Industry, such as:
- High Profile Artists
- Key Tastemakers and Connectors
- Publishers (physical and digital)
- Authorities and Government Agencies
- Social Activists and Organisers
- Organisations that invest in or fund urban initiatives

The objective is to form synergies, and contribute to the advancement and sustainability of UK Urban Music, Culture and Business.  Come to connect people, and be connected.

The Topic:
To open up dialogue on the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunties and Threats (SWOT) surrounding the urban industries in the UK.

Four varied panelists have been chosen to speak on high-level issues so that attendees can gauge a common view of the landscape for the urban industry, and look at ways that it can be improved on and sustained.  The first panel will be wide open to allow themes to develop organically and allow for dialogue for all 'stakeholders' in the urban industry, whether creative, cultural or commercial.

Some key questions we'll be asking:
- What is it that makes the urban industry (UI) exciting to other industries?
- What is the biggest opportunity in the UI at the moment?
- Could/should the UI have made more progress by 2009 than it has? What are the key inhibitors?
- Who is dictating the direction of the scene? Programme directors and corporations, or the people?
- Where does the UK fit in to the total global progress of the UI?
- What are the biggest threats facing the UI?
- Is the UI recession proof? What goods/services will keep the money coming in during 2009?

The Panel:
Sway, UK Rap Artist
Lawrence Lartey, Broadcast Journalist
Noel Clarke, Actor/Writer (Adulthood)
Raoul Shah, CEO, Exposure (Marketing & Advertising)

Chair: Raj Kotecha, former European Business Director at ContentNext Media inc (Guardian Media Group)
